Be Free, LLC was established with the goal of helping clients be free and happy by maintaining emotional wellness through inner healing, self-care, and rest.

In her clinical private practice, Dawn specializes in working with women between the ages of 18 and 40 on issues related to self-esteem, anxiety, depression, people-pleasing, perfectionism, burn-out, life transitions, transitions into adulthood, developing healthy relationships, and being the rescuer/fixer/savior.

She emphasizes the importance of psychoeducation to help her clients understand symptoms and how they can manage them. Her practice is informed by Solution Focused
Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

Dawn also incorporates laughter as a key component of therapy as she believes in the proverb “A happy heart is good medicine, and a cheerful mind works healing…”
Proverbs 17:22

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

We identify and challenge beliefs not based in reality, negative thinking patterns, and unhealthy behaviors. The focus is to live by truths and to be empowered in knowing that if we can better manage our thinking, then, we can better manage our wellness.

  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy

Learn to accept reality, practice mindfulness, learn interpersonal skills, and regulate our emotions through tough times.

  • Solution Focused Therapy

Shift focus from the problem to the solution, creating achievable steps towards the solution.

A Special Message from Dawn

I believe that the playing field of life should be equal. What I mean is, we are all worthy of experiencing the type of life that is gratifying to us. I learned that attaining the life we desire begins with what is in our heart (beliefs) and mind (thoughts). If you are unhappy or dissatisfied with life, start ask yourself these questions:

  • What thoughts seem to always replay in my mind?
  • What messages about me have I internalized from my experiences?
  • What do I believe?
  • What do I expect from life?

Evaluating your answers to these questions are a great place to begin a new path towards the life you would like to live.

Why I choose to Help: I recognize that much of our suffering in life is a result of our perspective, our thinking. What I have learned and am eager to share is that if we can shift our thinking, the suffering that we experience will last as long as it was ever supposed to… a moment. Then we can live the free lives that we were created to live.

Who I Enjoy Helping: I recognize that there is a category of people who are often sought out and, unfortunately, under supported. I enjoy supporting those who lead. I assist leaders with the insight they need to make the necessary call and most beneficial decisions. I also provide a space for inner healing, so they may lead without being distracted by their inner pain.

My Unique Skills: I assist others in analyzing and solving problems. I help to shift coded or unclear thinking to intelligible, clear, and productive thinking by simplifying complicated issues for better understanding. I enjoy sharing new concepts because I believe it empowers others to oversee their choices better, which can improve their quality of life.
